My great grandfather taught me how To play chess

About 20 years ago, my great grandfather taught me how to play chess. Since then, I’ve always been hooked again, and find it very relaxing and enjoyable. Sometimes I can spend all afternoon just playing chess with my children. They’ve also come to enjoy it, and I’m glad they share the same passions that I do. Someday they will have grandchildren, and I can be that great grandfather who teaches them chess. It’s kind of a tradition, at least in my family. I always just smiled I think about it, and there’s good reason for that. My great-grandfather was a very good man, and gave me his favorite chess sets to use during games. During all of the competitions I’ve done throughout the years, I’ve always used one of his. I bet he’s looking down right this very moment smiling down upon me. I’m continuing his legacy, all in good memory.
