My Chess Set Was Stolen

Recently when I was at a chess tournament, I noticed that when I went back to pick up my chess set, it’d been stolen by someone else. They had a place where we could place our chess sets, and I thought it would be safe to leave it there. What was I wrong, and I am very angry about this whole situation. I was in Manchester competition in Dallas Texas, so if you’re ever around there, I highly recommend you lock up your chess set or bring it with you. I own a couple chess sets, but that was one of my favorite ones, then I have to pay to replace. The worst part is that I didn’t even end up winning the competition, so all that money’s got to come right out of my pocket. I consider myself between a rock and a hard place, there’s not really much I can do about it. Learn from my mistake, and be careful with your stuff.
